Minister: Germany needs no Russian gas for energy transition
BERLIN, Mar 5 (PRIME) -- Germany needs gas for its energy transition, but not from Russia, Economy Minister Robert Habeck said on Saturday, as quoted on Twitter of the ministry.
"We are doing our best in order to make energy supplies climatically neutral,” Habeck said.
“This means consistent reduction of gas consumption and wider use of renewable energy sources and hydrogen production. We need gas for the transition – from other sources than Russia."
